![]() Ever since reading Philosopher's Stone I've always wanted an RPG like how Star Wars got Knights of the Old Republic, but instead all we ever got was movie tie ins. Sure, we got Wizards United and Hogwarts Mystery but they were never exactly what we've wanted. See this from our point of view, to my knowledge the last good Harry Potter game was the Half-Blood Prince (I'm still highly addicted to the potion mini game to this day) and if you're in this fandom you are more than aware of how awful the Deathly Hallows video games are. Where you put your money should be your own business in the first place, but deciding a persons entire being on that basis? Frankly it's ignorant, it's like meeting someone and asking what job they have and assuming they are a wife beater because they work in the mines. My problem with this whole situation is the simple fact that I don't make character judgements of other people because they bought a Disney Funko Pop or preordered a video game that I didn't consider worthy of it for whatever reason. Suddenly, in the age of the internet along with this era of complete and total utter acceptance of all people from all walks of life with all personalities and all identities has somehow fuelled these groups into believing they now have power over an individuals choice, and all they have to do is label them something they don't like when they do something they don't want. You'd sit back in your chair knowing that you as an individual have done what you believe to be the better course of action, and proceed to move on with your life. Voting with your wallet means if you don't like a company/person and they're selling a product/service to the public, then you don't buy it.
